Latin Dance/ Bachata Violinist

Iris started dancing since the age of 9 and she participated in a few regional latin dance competitions (Amateur Age 6-12) between 2006 and 2008. Unfortunately, the option of pursuing dancing to a professional level and developing academically at the same time under the traditional education system in Hong Kong was not possible. Due to these circumstances, it left her no choice but to give up her dancing career.
Iris successfully completed her undergraduate degree in the United Kingdom in 2019 and has been working as a chartered physiotherapist. Her parents are very proud of her because their daughter always strives for all-round personal development. Her passion for dancing has already taken a place in her heart. It was reignited in April 2021 when she moved to Manchester for a specialised physiotherapist role. Under the influence of a professional salsa teacher, she started to fall in love with dancing Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba. Furthermore, she started experimenting latin dance music with her violin skills and spiced it up with bachata lady stylings moves.

She will be working with dance societies, latin dance society in her community and aspirational dancers who come across their paths.
